General Guidelines for our Coatings

 

Prices stated to our customers include prep work, such as media blasting and normal preparation of the parts. Parts are to be completely disassembled and free of all grease and oil before being shipped or dropped off to us. Additional charges may apply to degrease or disassemble parts.

 

            Normal Prep Work includes:

 

                        Removal of old paint, rust and scale

                        Prep work includes pretreatment and masking

                       

The parts will be returned to the customer in a “ready to assemble state”. Customers should look over all parts when they receive them to ensure no foreign objects are on or in them.

 

Parts that have been previously powder coated and or; parts that are too fragile to be cleaned and stripped of old coatings may be subject to an additional stripping charge.

 

Additional charges may apply to parts that contain or are not degreased.

 

Our minimum shop charge is $75, example:

           

            Pair of Motorcycle Hand Levers normally cost $25 to coat.

           

            If this was all you had us coat, it would cost you $75.

 

            It is a better value for the customer to have more items coated to

            equal the $75 minimum shop rate.
